With Release 7, we're moving to a licensing server. Here's how it works:

Licensing/Billing <-- Your Server

The issued license is entered under your modules/config.php file

If you are hosted or monthly, your server will validate at admin login:
--If valid, normal function
--If not paid, script stops for admin users
--If cannot contact license server, 5 day grace period

If you are purchased and change DNS location or folder, you will need to login and reissue your license.

ONLY ADMIN is impacted. If you get suspended, end-users will not be impacted. Only administrators of the portal are impacted. So, you cannot query, modify, run billing, and so on.

All recurring billing and maintenance is moving away from FreshBooks and to the new WHCMS billing system.
