Setup (No sound with these)

Since this script set is based on Xoops, the setup would be exactly the steps to recovery a Xoops site from a saved zip / MySQL backup.

1. Create a New MySQL database and import the data (1 min, 17 sec). This uses Plesk with PhpAdmin in the example. Modify for your hosting platform or use the forum to request commandline help. Note: For Release 7 and later, the process is the same. The sql file(s) to import are named differently.

2. Stage the httpdoc files (7 min, 8 seconds). There are many ways to upload: ftp, scp, sftp, etc. Windows ftp is used in this example. The web server in this example is Linux. The Windows setup is simpler. Note: For Release 7 and later, the process is very similar. The installation instructions always take precedence over the flash demonstrations.

User Registration
User Registration (2 min, 37 seconds). A user must login to administer backup accounts. Note: Unchanged in Release 7.

User Login (4 min, 59 seconds). The user can create, modify, suspend, enable, and delete multiple accounts.

Administration Login
User Registration (6 min, 29 seconds). This focuses on the API piece of the admin. login versus the portal administration. The administrator has ultimate control over all accounts, resellers, and salespeople. Note: Release 7, reseller and salesperson support is dropping. The demand is near-zero, so there is no sense in continuing development.

Add an Account into Portal that Already Exists on the Ahsay OBS
